Cooking With Dog (not what you think), arguably the best YouTube cooking show out there, has been back for a while after the chef was injured in a bicycle accident earlier this year. Their latest recipe shows them how to make pineapple ice cream, a favorite in subtropical Okinawa, without the use of a single ice cream maker.
It may not be as mind-blowingly revelatory as that YouTube video of the water bottle egg separating trick a few weeks ago, but still, if you have a freezer and a food processor, it demonstrates that you needn't spend any more money on extra equipment if what you're after is a fruit-based ice cream. The recipe also works for peaches, and I would imagine, strawberries, or anything else that you can freeze…bananas, mangoes, roasted garlic??
