Yesterday, on this blog, we talked about a new Brazilian steakhouse that's being planned for the Irvine side of The Marketplace. Today we talk about the Tustin side, where another Hopdoddy Burger Bar is coming.
Hopdoddy—as we already know when it opened its Newport Beach store a few months ago at Fashion Island near Macy's—is originally from Texas, established in 2010 in Austin.
Now another is being planned in the same parking lot as Bonefish Grill in Tustin.
When it does open, expect the burgers to cost the same, if not similar to the Newport Beach location, which ranges from $7.25 for a Classic (Angus beef, red leaf lettuce, white onion, beef steak tomato, sassy sauce) to $13.25 for the Ahi Tuna Burger (sushi-grade tuna, sprouts, teriyaki, honey wasabi, nori chips, pickled ginger, mayo).
As with the Newport Beach branch, this Hopdoddy will also have beer on tap and shakes with flavors that include tres leches, red velvet cake, and chocolate stout. More news on this as it comes.
