What’s more cutesy than macarons? Macarons with little cartoon faces, that’s what. And macarons with little cartoon faces are exactly what Honey & Butter will be selling at its second OC store, which is being planned for the Irvine Spectrum, in between Sketchers and Old Navy where Gamestop used to be.
Honey & Butter will sell the regular non-cartoon macarons in flavors such as Sea Salted Caramel, French Toast, and Nutella for $2. But the “creature macarons” go for $2.50 or higher, depending on the complexity of the design.
The store anticipates a spring opening, which should give you plenty of time to think of alternate routes in the plaza for your tween daughter so that she doesn’t make you buy the whole store.
