Westminster Police say “numerous tips” from parents, children and school officials throughout
Orange County led to a sting operation that netted Westminster Dairy owner Helena Nguyen for allegedly selling alcohol to minors.

Detectives
from the Special Investigations Unit began building their case against the 45-year-old Westminster resident in August 2009, but even after launching the sting operation police continued to receive tips about the dairy's willingness to sell alcohol to minors, according to Cameron Knauerhaze, Westminster's public information officer.

Working with agents from state Alcohol Beverage Control, Westminster detectives collected enough evidence and information to
obtain a felony arrest warrant for Nguyen, who was served at the dairy on March 10 and booked into Orange County Jail, Knauerhaze says.
