Draft magazine, a trade publication aimed at professional beer geeks and the groupies who fling themselves at them, has named Orange's Haven Gastropub as one of the top three new gastropubs in the United States.

Specifically called out for mention were the Arrogant mussels, which was the recipe chef Greg Daniels provided us during his stint On the Line. In addition, the editors recommended hanger steak, escolar, and of course the Haven Burger with fries and homemade ketchup (and no, there is not a bottle of Heinz or Hunt's lying around the kitchen somewhere, so don't ask!).
The article also lauded the beer pairings on the menu (helpful to diners who are new at this whole not-swill thing) and the friendly, updated atmosphere as reasons to go, not to mention the walkability of the neighborhood. (Are you listening, Aliso Viejo?)
