Few things are worse than rolling up to the McDonald's drive-thru window at 10:31 a.m., only to hear the words, "Sorry, we're no longer serving breakfast."
But this first-world crisis may be a thing of the past, folks. McDonald's president and CEO Don Thompson told CNBC the company "would consider" serving breakfast all day. "We have the focus on our existing menu, but we have looked at breakfast across the day," he said. "We have it in some markets around the world." He added that McDonald's has looked at some "innovative ways" to expand breakfast hours. Who knows? Pretty soon, we may be having Sausage McMuffins and beer for dinner, and then our brains will explode.
