Pop punk's not dead, and when you consider that a slew of indie pop punk bands make there way here from out of the country or state, then its safe to say the scene here is pretty much anything but stagnant. So with this in mind locals can embrace tonight's group hailing all the way from Long Island, New York, Giants at Large. The unsigned four-piece have garnered a swarm of fans through giving away their music for free on their Bandcamp site, which includes six album releases loaded with emo-punk energy and intelligent lyrics. With their latest release The American Dream is Dead, not only is this group set to reinvigorate the genre, but they'll also find plenty of willing listeners at their local engagement tonight.
