This past Friday, the Hispanic 100–that group of lovable OC vendidos–held their annual gala at the Balboa Bay Club. I was supposed to go, but had a prior commitment, and it sucks because I was really looking forward to getting drunk with wabs who, unlike my progressive wab friends, have no qualms about enjoying life because they can actually afford to pay three figures for some extra-extra añejo tequila crushed by virgins from Los Altos de Jalisco.
And it sucks that I didn't go, because I missed a doozy of a family Freudian flub by George P. Bush, son of Jeb, nephew of George W., and grandson of George H.W., the brownie who was once pegged to save the GOP until that coño Marco Rubio came along.

In his speech, Jorge waxed nostalgic about his youth, recalling how he lived a summer in the White House when H.W. was there, how he lived in the governor's mansion in Tallahassee with his daddy, and down the street from Dubya in Austin before his disastrous presidency. He cracked a joke about how grandma Barbara still “wears the pants in the family.”
All of this was a lead-up to George P.'s point: that from this, he learned about “thoughtless public service.”
Of course, he quickly corrected himself to “thoughtful.” Damn! And here we thought a Bush finally said the truth!
