Gay Marriage Proponents Unite! Mormons to Converge on Costa Mesa Wednesday

Don't put your protest signs away just yet, anti-Prop. 8 opponents. (Orange County Mormon temples have been disrupted recently thanks to the Church of Latter-Day Saints having funneled gobs of cash into the Nov. 4 state voter initiative that prohibited gay marriage.)

Mormon Times reports that Segerstrom Concert Hall at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa will be the site of a Christmas concert Wednesday featuring five choirs and a 60-piece orchestra associated with the church. About 350 performers will make their way to the stage during “All the Bells on Earth Shall Ring.” Among the music to be featured are three songs from Home Alone, according to Mormon Times. We assume that refers to the John Hughes' movie and not Home Alone Twinks Getting Nasty, although a man can dream, can't he?

Better footage would be of the Gay Men's Chorus of Orange County confronting these fa-la-la-la-lallers in the OCPAC parking lot. You ain't lived until you've seen a gay-choir-bitch-slapping-Mormon-choir rumble. Now where did we put those castrato shears?
