Free Ticket Tuesday Wednesday: Japandroids at the Glass House

There's plenty of room for celebration on Heard Mentality this week. With weekend one of Coachella under our belts, we're already scrubbing ourselves off and re-sharpening our focus as we prepare for another foray into the sweaty badlands of Indio. We've also dusted off the 'ol free ticket giveaway! Yeah, it's been a little while since we've showered you with free stuff. But what a great week to pick it back up!

Next Monday, Coachella-worthy rock duo Japandroids are firing up one more set full of thrashy pop gems at the Glass House. Vancouver duo Brian King and Dan Prowse continue their maelstrom of garage rock moxie and escapist lyrics illustrated on their sophomore album Celebration Rock. And if you did manage to catch them at Coachella, you know that if these guys can deliver an unforgettable, punchy set in desert weather, they can sure as hell do it in Pomona. As if that weren't enough, they'll also be joined by Cloud Nothings, a fellow group of Coachella alumns with a penchant for noisy, grunge-inflected guitar squalls make them a perfect pairing for this bill. You can also look forward to hearing some prospective new material from Body Music, their forthcoming third album. Excited? So are we! And if you're looking for tickets to the show, once again you've come to the right place.

We're giving away THREE pairs of tickets to see Japandroids and Cloud Nothings at the Glass House on Monday. All you have to do to win tickets is leave us a message on Heard Mentality's Twitter (@ocweeklymusic) and/or Facebook with your name and email address! Winners notified on Friday morning.
