Francisco Barboza was standing at the crosswalk on the southeast corner of West Warner Avenue and South Fairview Street in Santa Ana around 9 p.m. Sunday when a man walking south in the Fairview crosswalk approached.
Instead of tipping a cap or a polite “hello,” the man pulled a gun and shot Barboza once in the chest.

The gunman turned around and ran north on Fairview. Barboza started to run south on Fairview before collapsing.
The 33-year-old Santa Ana resident was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police
have no suspects, so they are reaching out to the public for help in
