Five Orange County Venues Most Likely to Host a White-Power Concert

So white-power music fans are planning to hold a concert this weekend in an undisclosed Orange County location because, hey: cockroaches* like to hide, you know? There'll be some big namesĀ  in the hatecore scene: Max Resist, Youngland, White Knuckle Driver, and other knuckleheads.

I know where organizers will host the show, but why ruin their fun and reveal so early? Instead, I offer a list of the five OC venues most likely to host them. Have fun, and feel free to add your own!

In no particular order:

The Doll Hut, Anaheim

They hosted a neo-Nazi show last summer, and the skins in attendance fully enjoyed themselves–why not again?

House of Blues, Anaheim
This is why I need to keep all my notes. There was a show last year at the venue featuring a band that's not skinhead per se but has a large white-power following. At some point, according to shocked witnesses who attended, members of PEN1 blocked off the venue floor so skins could have the mosh pit to themselves. That same show also featured people giving the Hitler salute, as evidenced by photos posted on Stormfront.

There was another show, in which a woman posted a picture of herself at a Germs show on Stormfront giving the salute. Problem is, she was so swarthy that one skin on the Internet's most popular white-power website accused her of being a Mexican. No, she said: she was Basque. YEAH, RIGHT–homegirl is darker than your typical mestizo.

Riff Haus, Fullerton
Has hosted skinhead bands before, although in one of those only-in-OC moments that makes life here so damn wonderful, the band in question has a full-Mexican drummer yet is followed mostly by skins. Ah, OC…

Any bar in Huntington Beach
For the obvious reasons. The Anti-Defamation League has a list of those that have hosted white-power shows in the past–but again, need to keep my notes!

*Old World Village, Huntington Beach

Not a bar, and DUH.

^Skinheads like to call Mexicans cockroaches, but at least we put our shit out in the open, and not scurry from venue to venue under cover of Internet…
