A fire broke out early this morning at Restauration in Long Beach. The popular restaurant was severely damaged, and no one was hurt.
According to figures provided by Communications and Operations Manager, Nancy Schwartz from the National Fire Protection Association, fire departments across the U.S. responded to an average of 8,240 structure fires at eating and drinking establishments each year between 2012 and 2016. These fires resulted in two civilian deaths, 120 civilian injuries, and $155 million in direct property damage each year.
