Being a band with a couple hit singles isn't all it's cracked up to be. After years of touring, the public at large only remembers you for a couple songs. Filter first entered heavy rotation in 1995 with the song “Hey Man, Nice Shot,” which was used to great slo-mo effect in the Jim Carrey film “The Cable Guy.” But they've produced five albums since then and band members have provided session work for other groups including Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails.
