Fast Food vs. Reality In Photos

Everybody knows that the photos of fast food in advertisements are set up by professional food stylists. These fluffers of the food porn world make sure that the food is perfectly lined up, attractively laid out, and within the bounds of the truth-in-advertising laws.

So, what happens when the set-up pictures meet reality? Dario D. at the blog ALPHAILA did a little experiment to show the difference between the advertisements and the food once purchased. He gave the purchased food every chance, rotating it to the best angle and even going so far as to re-fluff it.

As the sign in one of my favorite Chinese restaurant says, “Picture may vary from the real.”
