Is this the nadir of American menu writing?
Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour announced yesterday on their Facebook page that their Brea location would start serving breakfast from 8-11 a.m. on weekends, including a “breakfast trough” (pictured above).
The ice cream trough was bad enough, but this looks like we ought to just stick our snouts down in there and snuffle it up. It appears to have potatoes, chopped peppers and onions, eggs, bacon, and what looks like a sauce drenching the entire thing. It's obviously a multi-serving container, but how many people do you think will order one just for themselves, or for themselves and one other person?
