A quick peek at Fake Figures' Facebook page shows the Orange County band has been deemed buzzworthy by MTV. (That still exists?) It makes sense. The band features members from other top- shelf acts including Atreyu, Hotwire and Scars of Tomorrow. They've nicely layered a gritty edge with sweet sounds. Think the guitar crunch of Korn met with the soaring vocals of Lincoln Park.
