Eva Longoria to Sign New Cookbook At South Coast Plaza

You might be thinking to yourself, that Eva Longoria? She has a cookbook? Isn't Bree Van de Kamp, Marcia Cross' character, the model of domesticity on that show? Admittedly, I haven't seen Desperate Housewives in ages, so I have no clue what's going on with the plot these days. Gabrielle Solis might have transformed herself into the next Rachael Ray for all I know.

But in any case, in real life, Longoria is actually the one actress on the drama that seems to have more food experience than her other cohorts. She, along with partner Todd English, have a restaurant called Beso in Hollywood (the one in Vegas filed for bankruptcy protection).

This new cookbook, her first, called Eva's Kitchen: Cooking With Love for Family and Friends, will officially drop April 5. And the author herself will be signing her book at noon on Saturday, April 9 at Williams-Sonoma, 3333 S. Bristol St., Costa Mesa, (714) 751-1166.

Here are some details Williams-Sonoma has dictated:

Books will be on sale starting April 5; however, you may pre-order your books to secure a ticket now. Ask an associate for further details.
