The Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA) announced Tuesday it is seeking other victims of a Buena Park man who allegedly posted ads on Craigslist stating he'd install frameless shower doors and then taking more than $11,000 from clients without ever showing up to do the work.

Eric Clifton Miller, 35, faces seven felony counts of residential burglary, one felony count of grand theft, and six misdemeanor counts of petty theft that could send him to state prison for 17 years and eight months with a conviction, the OCDA says.
Between last September and March, Miller allegedly posted multiple Craigslist ads in Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties offering to install frameless shower doors under various business names including “3 Day Frameless Shower Pros” and “Frameless Showers.” (He turns up in a newspaper's police blotter for La Cañada Flintridge.)
Miller is accused of meeting with homeowners who responded to the ad, inspecting the bathrooms to be remodeled, providing a reasonable quote, issuing a written estimate/invoice, and requesting a same-day cash or check deposit. He then cashed the checks the same day, never returned to perform the work and avoided all calls and emails from the concerned customers, prosecutors claim. The La Cañada Flintridge client mentions Craigslist was no help either.
The OCDA Bureau of Investigation investigated the case after receiving numerous complaints from clients who responded to the ad, claims the agency, which asks anyone with additional information or who believes they have been a victim to contact Supervising District Attorney Investigator Andy Terhorst at 714.648.3615.
