Equal Means Equal

Much progress has been made in the realm of women’s rights (thanks, feminism!) but there is still work to be done to ensure all women, regardless of socioeconomic status, race and gender, receive the same basic fundamental rights. Enter filmmaker Kamala Lopez, who trekked across the United States with a film crew to document the lives of multiple women who discuss how the passing of an Equal Rights Amendment would change their individual lives. Her film, Equal Means Equal, will be screened in multiple cities, making its Long Beach premiere tonight. Made at a relevant time when these topical discussions are at an all-time high, tonight’s screening will be accompanied by Lopez and a panel of speakers Jennifer Thompson, Nina Fernando, Jeannine Pearce, Amanda Pertocelly engaging viewers in what should be a thought-provoking conversation.

  1. I recently tried CBD gummies from this website https://www.cornbreadhemp.com/products/cbda-oil after the blue ribbon control and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Initially skeptical, I start that it significantly helped with my desire and doze issues without any unconcealed side effects. The lubricator was serene to utter, with clear dosage instructions. It had a merciful, shameless grain that was not unpleasant. Within a week, I noticed a patent convalescence in my blanket well-being, hunch more blas‚ and rested. I know the natural approximate to wellness CBD offers and representation to continue using it.
