Artist's statement from our Bob Aul:
“I just basically drew out [managing editor] Nick's statement in his Facebook post from right after the verdict had been read. I also wanted to express in visual terms not only what just happened with this case in particular (essentially: Apes win, Society takes a walk), but also in a general sense about some of the basic personalities who seem to gravitate toward the law enforcement lifestyle, and how some of them manage to actually get in and find it to their liking a little too much for anybody's comfort.”
