SEE UPDATED POST: Eddie Jurado Duran, OC Homicide No. 41: 14-Year-Old Found Shot to Death in Stolen Car
Santa Ana Police have little to go on but this: 14-year-old Eddie Jurado Duran was found shot to death Wednesday night in the driver's seat of a stolen red 1990 Toyota Camry.
His grandfather had called the cops just after 10 p.m. to report the young gang member had been killed, which led offices to the grisly discovery in an alley in the 1800 block of South Cedar
Street, south of Edinger Avenue.

The Santa Ana boy had been shot in the upper torso, and the Camry was in rival gang territory, according to police.
“We are trying to figure out if the shooting occurred somewhere else
or did the shooting occur in the alley and no one heard it,” Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna tells the Orange County Register.
Police received no reports of shots fired in the area, and no weapon was found in the car reported stolen Saturday.
Anyone who can help police piece together the shooting is asked to call 714.245.8648.
