Dress Up for Disneyland's Dapper Day This Sunday

Ladies, dig up your grandma's vintage sunglasses and high-rise pencil skirts. Men, get groomed and put on your best bow-tie. It's time to bring Sunday's best to Dapper Day this Sunday on March 1, which will fill Disneyland with old-timey fashionistas once more.

Whether you're an inner Bettie Page or fedora-wearing Frank Sinatra, Dapper Day welcomes getups of all past eras. No matter what era you end up going with, you'll feel right at home once you step foot on Main Street U.S.A. — Disneyland's 1900s-Middle-America-inspired entryway to the rest of the park. Here, you'll be surrounded by ragtime music, horse-drawn street cars — oh, and the singing Dapper Dans.

Some recommended events are the Mark Twain Riverboat and Carousel (for “Dapper Derby,” of course). If you want more fashion, you can explore the Dapper Day Expo on 2/28 (12 p.m. – 9 p.m.) and 3/1 (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.), which is free and open to the public. There will be vintage clothing, accessories, beauty products, and other things to keep you oh so dapper.

On Dapper Day, Disneyland is scheduled to close at midnight and California Adventure at 10 p.m.
