It's Monday, the most loathsome of all weeknights. As some of us prepare for the onslaught of four more nine-to-fives, some of us just aren't quite ready to let go of the weekend. If you happen to be hanging around Long Beach this night, head over to the Pike on Fourth Street. This bar, known well to locals as one of the best places to catch cool DJs and a great order of fries, doesn't let the Monday blues get to them. Check out tunes from DJ Eser as he spins the greatest hits and underground tracks from the '80s. And after a few cups of the Pike's happily crafted brews on tap, you can break it down on the venue's small dance floor and have yourself a grand ol' manic Monday.
