Attention, Anaheim visitors:
This time, the unsavory character eyeing your wallet isn't a local hoodlum or a hooker.
It's Mickey Mouse, and he's profit-hungry again.

Or, at least, Mickey's bosses at Disneyland want mo' money.
To celebrate the worst American economy since the Great Depression, Disneyland executives have raised the price of their special, seasonal Southern California residents' park pass by more than 37 percent.
The two-day pass, available to locals during what has been traditionally slow park-attendance periods, now costs $99 per person. Last year, it cost $72.
Translation: For a family of four, just to enter the park will cost a whopping $411 after the $15 parking fee is included.
This pass allows users two trips on two different days to Disneyland or Disneyland California Adventure and can only be used through May 14. Park officials say the pass must by purchased by April 14.
Those locals who want to visit both parks on the same day can “upgrade” the pass for another $10 per ticket.
Disney reported more than $38 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
