When I first started taking money from motorists entering Disneyland, parking cost 50 cents. It's $17 now. I don't recall what an adult pass to get into the Anaheim theme park was back in those days, but it certainly was not $99, the new admission price as of last weekend.

That's $3 more than when ticket prices went up $2 in May, and the hike should not surprise anyone who has been paying attention as The Happiest ATM on Earth has jacked up its gate prices about five percent a year each year since 2010.
It's not just the adult–adult being anyone over age 10–single day/single park ticket either. Hopper passes that allow admission to Disneyland and California Adventure are now $155 per adult and annual passing with parking but without blackout dates just rose $80 to $779 per year.
Hey, didn't Disney Chairman Bob Iger just say his theme parks broke attendance records in the most-recent quarter. Indeed:
