If I'm not mistaken, the City of Orange has the most American BBQ restaurants in the county with seven joints in all. But if you were to judge by a recent trend I'm starting to notice, Fullerton may not be far behind.
Over the last year, the city has added two new BBQ restaurants–Leadbelly's and JP23, which instantly tripled the number of places in town you can get a rack of ribs. Now there's at least one more planned.

Dickey's Barbecue–the chain that failed in Irvine a few years ago, but succeeded to take hold in Brea despite competition from Lucille's Smokehouse–is poised to open store #2 in O.C. in, yep, Fullerton.
It will be located 1941 W Malvern Ave. It's shooting for a mid-September opening. This follows on the heels of the Brea store, which itself opened last summer.
