Design A T-Shirt, Win Bruery Stuff

Bar t-shirts, once worn mostly by thirty-something men in adult baseball leagues, have come into their own. You can't walk down a street in OC without seeing at least a couple of people giving their favorite bars or liquor manufacturers some free advertising. The best t-shirts have staying power (it is a requirement, for example, that all men in Long Beach own a Joe Jost's t-shirt) or cute designs (the ones from Throwbacks show bears with antlers: bear + deer = beer).

Well, if you look at those shirts and think you can design a better one, the Bruery wants to hear from you.

The brewery wants two new designs for the opening of their store on Glassell, and they want the public to design the shirts. Designs may (but don't need to) incorporate the Bruery Provisions logo, which is available from the website, and may be on a t-shirt template or not.

Submissions, which should be in .jpg format, need to be in by Sunday, July 18 at 11:59 p.m., Pacific time. The two winning designs will be announced the following Friday. Winners will receive five t-shirts and a $50 gift card that can be used for anything from beer to supplies.

Head for the Bruery's website for all the gory details.
