With the wave of awesome '90s album anniversaries, it's about time a group did something besides releasing the super duper gigantic deluxe edition of their classic release. Who better than New York's Wu Tang Clan to think of something creative? Joining forces with DC Shoes to release a limited edition collection that commemorates their debut Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) that introduced the hip-hop collective to the masses, inspiring an entire generation of up-and-coming rappers. Yet outside of hip-hop heads, Wu Tang found fans in an entirely different group: skateboarders.

Featuring artwork from the original album cover and exclusive Wu-Tang anniversary branding, the collection consists of a heavy wool blend pea coat with satin lining and custom gold metal buttons ($250), lux full grain leather high-top boots with gold eyelets ($110) and a hat constructed with Performance CycleDry fabric and New Era brim ($38).
Along with the limited-edition product collaboration, DC and Wu-Tang will unveil the short film “Street N Boards N Bees N Swords” which chronicles the parallel stories of the seminal album's effect on the music and skate industries and the simultaneous launch of a brand onto the skate scene. Written and Directed by Kirk Dianda, the film is told through interviews with the icons that paved the way, and chronicles the common thread between underdogs and visionaries.
The collection went on sale yesterday morning and there are limited quantities left. If you are a fan of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Ol' Dirty Bastard, then this gear is something to fuck with.
