David Moreno, Nursing Home Worker, Allegedly Assaulted 69 y.o. Woman Sexually

Talk about your sick fucks–excuse me–alleged sick fucks: assisted living and nursing home employee David Moreno is accused of sexually assaulting a 69-year-old disabled woman.

And, according to a release from the Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA), law enforcement is reaching out to the public due to fears the Riverside 28-year-old preyed on others under his care.

From June 1-July 24, 2012, maintenance worker Moreno entered the woman's room at Emeritus Senior Living in
Yorba Linda, where she was being treated for dementia, and sexually assaulted her, according to the OCDA.

He allegedly left behind physical evidence that helped Brea Police investigators take Moreno down. He is currently charged with one felony count each of sexual
battery on an institutionalized victim and sexual penetration by foreign
object of an incompetent victim.

Out of custody on $100,000 bail pending a July 10 hearing in Fullerton, Moreno could get eight years in state prison and a lifetime of sex offender
registration with a conviction.

But those criminal counts, and potential time behind bars, would likely increase if he is convicted of crimes against others. Anyone who believes they have been a
victim of Moreno is asked to contact Buena Park Brea Police Detective Dave Wearp at 714.671.4438 or Supervising District Attorney Investigator Anthony Sosnowski
at 714.347.8794.
