A former Disneyland cast member has taken a plea deal that sentences him to a year in jail, five years of formal probation and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration for offering to sell “a 14-year-old girl” tickets to the theme park in exchange for sex.

Darreck Michael Enciso, Disney Resort Hotel Worker, Allegedly Tried to Hook Up with Girl
The victim description is in quotes because who Enciso believed to be a minor was actually a Huntington Beach Police undercover officer posing as one.
On July 1, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel dishwasher posted a craigslist ad seeking women to engage in sex acts in exchange for tickets to the resort parks in Anaheim, according to prosecutors.
The undercover, posing as a 14-year-old girl, took the 27-year-old Adelanto resident up on the offer, agreeing to meet him on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach to seal the deal.
On July 9, Enciso arrived at the meeting location packing condoms and Magic Kingdom tickets. Surf City cops arrested him on the spot. (Speaking of on the spot, Enciso was immediately fired when the Mouse learned of the arrest.)
On Friday, Enciso pleaded guilty to felony attempted lewd act upon a child, felony contacting a child with the intent to commit a specified sex crime and felony meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct.
Enciso could have been washing dishes in prison for more than four years if he'd been found guilty without taking Orange County Superior Court Judge Derek Johnson's plea offer.
The defendant already has credit for about six months in custody, according to Deputy District Attorney Bobby Taghavi.
