A Dana Point woman was shot in the head last night when a gun being cleaned by her neighbor accidentally discharged. That immediately prompted the NRA to issue a press release warning that attempting to prevent rounds from being in a chamber during cleaning violates the Second Amendment. … Well, in my dreams anyway.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department has launched an investigation, but it seems clear this was an “Oops …” moment.
“Our preliminary information indicates it was an unintentional discharge and a neighbor was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,'' sheriff's Lt. Gary Strachan reportedly told City News Service.
The shooting went down around 10 p.m. in an apartment complex in the 25000 block of Quail Run.
I think someone owes his neighbor a free housecleaning.
