Call it a marketing strategy aimed at concert-mad twenty-somethings or a brilliant foresight into the future of education's financial ruin—Cal State Fullerton's annual Front & Center presents big names on even bigger stages. Since 1996, the organization puts on an entertainment spectacle to raise funds for student scholarships and hook prospective supporters and possible attendees. This year, CSUF presents Heart at the Honda Center. Not bad for an academic event, is it? The iconic rock duo is preceded by musical performances by students from CSUF's College of the Arts, while Broadway's Dashaun Young emcees the evening. So come out and support art, music and education—go ahead and stay out late, it's not a school night.
