Nothing whips up a hankering for some chow like a feature-length environmental documentary exposing the total destruction being inflicted upon planet Earth by the meat and dairy industry. Fortunately, the presenters of a special, one-time showing of Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret at the Irvine Spectrum have you covered. But you've got to act NOW for the free (and sustainable!) grub.

See, Cowspiracy rolls at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the Spectrum cinema, where tickets are $12 each through Tugg.com. That's a steal when you consider admission comes with a voucher good for a free meal at the Veggie Grill, which has a restaurant right there in the same retail and entertainment sprawl-o-plex.
BUT–you just knew there would be a big but–those vouchers will only be given to the movie-goers who purchase their Tugg tickets by this Sunday, Nov. 2. So hop to it!
Don't worry, you should be thoroughly engrossed by Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn's documentary, which is billed as being, “As eye-opening as Blackfish.” Say, I don't recall anyone offering me a faux shrimp dinner voucher when I went to see that.
