Courtney Madison Ideue Aoki, Ladera Ranch Murder Victim, to be Laid to Rest Saturday


Twenty-year-old Courtney Madison Ideue Aoki will be laid to rest in private services Saturday, according to the Forest Lawn of Cypress website.

The young Buena Park woman is the presumed first murder victim of Ali Syed, 20, of Ladera Ranch.

“I want to thank all of our friends and relatives that have made the loss of Courtney a little less painful,” reads a statement on the memorial park site from the victim's mother, Annette Aoki. “Thank you and God bless you!”

A woman identified as Ms. Medina also shares back at the mom, “Words
could never convey or express how sorry we are for your loss. May God
bring your family peace as we all grieve for a lost soul. May God bless
you and keep you.”

Courtney Madison Ideue Aoki, 20, born on June 27, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, passed away February 19, 2013. She resided in Buena Park, California at the time of her passing. She will be terribly missed by her mother, grandmother, and younger sister. She was a beautiful person inside and out and was loved deeply by all around her.

When out post went up Wednesday afternoon, the page organized by Liz
McQueen showed $556 in donations but it was up to $906 by about the same time Thursday. The goal is $3,000.
