You can also swing by Thursday if you like. The feed happens on the back side of La Palma Park, behind the bleachers, in the gated area that is right next to the Salvation Army. During the week it is used as a check-in center for the homeless, organizers note.

Composed solely of volunteers, “Coast to Coast hopes by sharing a warm meal with the homeless, they can feel the love and warmth of others during this holiday season,” say organizers, who hope to serve 300 meals to those who can come to the park area as well as delivering meals throughout Anaheim and Fullerton. Mrs. Bea's Florentine's Grill, Brownstone CafĂ© and Slidebar are among the businesses that donated food that will be cooked up by volunteers.

In addition to meals, the nonprofit provides donated clothing and hygiene kits to the homeless. Learn more about them at www.coasttocoastfoundation.org.
