The European rock acts on the bill sustained a few injuries days before the second round of Coachella. Blur's ascension to the headlining is definitely welcomed considering how well they performed last weekend, while fellow reunited Britpop band The Stone Roses, despite being the more critically lauded of the two, put on one of the most disappointing, ill-attended sets on the main stage. /and given the mass exodus during their set, it's obvious there was some truth to LA Weekly's post about kids not knowing (or caring) who the Stone Roses are.

In other news, it was announced today that Biffy Clyro's lead singer Simon Neil is struggling with a “serious respiratory problem” that is forcing the band to cancel their Saturday set according to a statement issued by the band;s record label this afternoon. Warner Bros. Records also said the band is canceling the rest of their North American tour including further dates with Muse.
