Orange's mayor says the city might consider an offer to put images of Colonel Sanders and KFC buckets on fire hydrants around town.

Mayor Carolyn Cavecche says she had not been
contacted by KFC or its parent company, Yum Brands, Inc., but she'd give the idea some serious thought if she were approached.
“I think it's a very interesting proposition,” Cavecche told the Orange County Register's Orange City Watch blog.
“That's the type of decision that would have to be run by our fire
chief.”
To promote its new Fiery Grilled Wings, KFC has already paid two Indiana cities $7,500 to splash the Colonel's iconic mug on several fire hydrants and some extinguishers. The chain is apparently seeking other towns to do the same as part of a month-long promotion.
You don't even want to hear what they have plan to do with Mr. Sanders' face on Fire Island.
