Cinderella

When glam band Cinderella appeared on the scene late in the evolution of heavy metal's first wave, things were out of control. Hair was teased so high that it presented a threat to to buildings and public safety. But Cinderella didn't care, and they rocked ballads about love with jangley guitars and screechy vocals, gospel choruses and hair hoisted to the sky. Their success was bolstered by the many videos they produced for MTV supporting a string of multi platinum albums. Watching some of these old gems, which make heavy use of slow motion guitar slinging and trench coats blowing in the breeze, one has to wonder if Bon Jovi owes them a debt of gratitude. See them at the House of Blues and find out.
