Given that laughter is a pretty effective medicine and all that, it makes perfect sense for CHOC Children's Hospital to host a fundraiser featuring one of the best comedians in California. Held at the Brea Improv, tonight's CHOC Comedy Benefit show spotlights standup comic veteran (and two-time Emmy-winner) Craig Shoemaker “The LoveMaster.” Every penny of proceeds goes directly to benefit CHOC Children's Radiology Department, so splurge on that VIP ticket and in addition to dinner and the show, enjoy front-of-the-Improv seating, a free glass of wine, a pre-performance reception with Shoemaker, and a little thank-you gift from CHOC. Though, considering the evening of entertainment for an incredibly good cause, we should really be the ones thanking them.
