Chicken Dijon–the Mediterranean rotisserie chicken mini-chain with locations in Hollywood, Redondo Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, and West LA–has closed its Irvine store.
In it's place is a new, um, Mediterranean rotisserie chicken joint? Yup. OZ Grill looks to have almost the same menu as Chicken Dijon did.
There is something intriguing about OZ Grill. It describes itself on its website this way:
]
“OZ” being the abbreviation for Australia. OZ is our vision in quality convenience food. It's Mediterranean food with an Australian touch.
So far, from what I've noticed, the closest “Australian” thing to OZ is the Outback Steakhouse across the parking lot.
