There will be a DUI/drivers license checkpoint starting at 8 tonight in Anaheim. An hour later, there's one in Santa Ana. (Locations of each follow after the jump.) Also at 9 tonight, special “saturation” patrols begin in Dana Point, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano. All these anti-DUI operations end at 3 a.m. Saturday.

Anaheim's DUI/drivers license checkpoint will be in the 500 block of North Magnolia Avenue from 8 tonight through 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the police department there.
The Santa Ana checkpoint will be in the area of 500 W. First St.
“All vehicles may be checked and drivers who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be arrested,” warns the Santa Ana Police Department, but the cops in Anaheim would tell you the same thing.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department is running the saturation patrols on streets in the three contract cities known for drunken driving arrests and crashes.
All these operations are funded by grants from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
