That means it’s time to get out of the house and enjoy California for all she offers: Sunshine, the ocean, and legal cannabis. From women empowerment seminars to veteran gatherings to a local meet and greet with Redman, the week offers much in the way of interacting with the cannabis world. And we’ve got the hookup! Just remember: most events are for people at least 21-years-old, unless otherwise specified– and bring your medical recommendation just in case! Marijuana Madness: The True Story of Marijuana Prohibition in the Jazz Era

Step into the timeless atmosphere of Hollywood’s nightlife and travel back in time to 1937, when national marijuana prohibition was first written into American law. Marijuana Madness is a three-part series of live music and burlesque shows dedicated to telling the true story of cannabis prohibition and the musicians who were targeted. Once marijuana prohibition was written into law, a massive propaganda campaign followed and continued for decades to criminalize cannabis in the public eye. A key trend of this propaganda was how the substance affected moral decisions and encouraged debauchery. In true prohibition style, a separate lounge will be open where guests can elevate and enhance their experience with the Grassfed’s vape-bar and delectable health-conscious treats. The sponsors of the event include: Bloomfield (Flower); Trichohm (Live Rosin Extracts); VapeXhale, Firefly & Davinci (Vaping Accessories); To Whom It May, Medicine Box (Edibles); Pride Wellness (CBD Cocktails).
