Candlelight Vigil for Marriage Equality Tomorrow in Santa Ana

Tomorrow, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear the legal challenge to California's Proposition 8. But instead of taking the rallying, angry, and sign-pumping approach to fighting for gay marriage–although that's perfectly legit as well!–equality warriors in Orange County have decided to hold a candlelight vigil. The weight of the event has prompted Light the Way Justice to hold a peaceful and somber demonstration to show their support of gay marriage.

They ask and encourage anyone to come stand alongside them at the ominous Federal Building in SanTana starting tomorrow at 6 pm. Bring warm clothes, candles, signs, and a clear head.

It'll start with a rendition of “This Little Light of Mine,” and giving the official welcome is Kevin O'Grady, head of The Center OC. He'll be followed  by performers and speeches from PFLAG, the Interfaith Coalition, LGBT Pride groups, and more righteous folks. For detailed information visit the Light the Way Facebook page. See you there!

And if you're against gay marriage? For the love of God, stay home.
