Nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Original Score, Taxi Driver was a triumph in the world of cinematic art—a highly acclaimed film filled with the kind of subject matter that could turned a censor’s hair white. Robert DeNiro played a deranged cab driver who, disgusted by the low-lifes he chauffeurs, decides to murder a Senator—but not before befriending a child prostitute. A special screening of this very special film will be shown at the Marion Knott Studios in Orange, complete with a question-and-answer session by an incredibly special guest: Harry Ufland, a producer and agent who represented both Scorsese and DeNiro.
