We talk a lot about those assembly-line pizza joints popping up all over; but those acai bowl purveyors aren't that far behind.
At last check, there's Banzai Bowls, Acai Republic, Barefoot Bowls, Nekter, Birdie Bowl & Juicery, and that's just the ones I remember. Bowl of Heaven is another. It already has stores in Newport Beach and RSM, and this week it will open one in Laguna Niguel at 23954 Aliso Creek Rd., next to Whole Foods.

After that, Bowl of Heaven will invade Tustin's The District and Huntington Beach's 5 Points Plaza, with those stores slated to open in a few months.
Chief in their ingredient list is a blend of 7 so-called “super fruits” including the Maqui berry, acai, gac, Alaskan blueberry, Chinese lycium, Siberian pineapple, and cili.
I'll leave it to you to do your own research on the purported health benefits of eating acai and acai products; I'm just saying that if you're into pizza and/or acai, this is going to be a good year.
