Nathan Lyon, chef and television personality (PBS's Growing a Greener World, Discovery Health's A Lyon in the Kitchen, Food Network's Next Food Network Star) will be signing copies of his children's book, Sam the Clam, tonight at Apostrophe Books (4712 E. 2nd St., Long Beach; 562-438-7950), from 7-9 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Project Give-a-Book.
Come early; buy many copies. You know you have kids you need gifts for. (Those of you who are coming just to ogle the chef, buy a book anyway and donate it.)
