“Bring your sweetie, your pal, your parents or your kids,” says a Big Bear rep. “It's a great deal with no restrictions and includes night skiing for a romantic night under the stars.”

For those who prefer much more snow, Big Bear Mountain Resorts' new partner ski area, Mammoth, picked up 13 inches of heavy snow over the weekend, according to reps up there outside of Bishop.
The snow dump is “ideal for building the base and setting up for a potentially heavy February with several storm systems tracking for the Eastern Sierra over the next several weeks,” they note.
Whether going local or up north, keep in mind that you can't beat a Valentine's Day snuggling inside one another's parkas.
