At Rich Mead’s Farmhouse, there are gorgeous archways, gurgling fountains and a bar that resembles a barn. If you managed to score a reservation, you’ll likely be seated at one of the many tables sheltered under a giant awning. If you’re really lucky, you’ll get a gazebo or a more private seat underneath the umbrellas overlooking Roger’s Gardens, Newport Beach’s toniest nursery. It doesn’t matter when you go. The environment is just as bucolic at night, when the string lights twinkle as if rows of stars, as in the daytime, when the leafy garden is bright and fragrant.
