It has been two years since evil Vons executives, who owned a Costa Mesa shopping center, forced the closure of Orange County's best, most popular breakfast hole, the Omelette Parlor. This place gave customers large, high-quality portions of every breakfast dish imaginable. And, oh, who could forget those heavenly bacon slices, apple butter for toast and near-lethal mimosas? Sure, Plums down the street is wonderful, but we long for the restaurant's comeback at a spot safe from mindless corporate-mentality sabotage.
